We use Shorewall as our firewall and operate with management and production VLANS. We use the Opengear console manager for out-of-band management. The Solaris systems leverage ZFS and have over 20 TB of storage. Due to application requirements we leverage a combination of EnterpriseDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle for our relational database needs. The single sign-on authentication is an OpenLDAP based directory service. The VOIP system is based on Asterisk.
The integrated services available include email, calendar, instant messaging, document management, help desk, reporting, infrastructure monitoring, customer relationship management, knowledge management and our enterprise resource management system. Key applications are:
