The name xforty was derived from a pervasive technology often referred to as “64 bit computing”. This advancement in computing allows for large amounts of data to be addressed, processed and analyzed for quick and intelligent business management decisions. 0x40 is the hexadecimal representation for the digital number 64. Get a feel for the significance of xforty and try out the “xforty valuator”, which is a standard radix converter with a default value of x40 provided in the hexadecimal input field.
